There’s a fantastic new coffeeshop in New Haven called Green Well on Crown Street, right around the corner from Cafe Nine, one of our favorite neighborhoods to play! They have organic and fairly traded loose leaf tea, coffee, trail mixes and a variety of other healthy food options as well as being a venue for art openings and musical performances. It’s a BYOB room, if you’re so inclined, and this Saturday’s music will be hosted by yours truly, with my special guest Sam Perduta of “stoner-soul” (whoever wrote that should get a medal!) band Elison Jackson. We’ve been singing and recording together, and this should be a lively living room style fun happy hour before you cut loose on the streets of New Haven! Starts at 6pm and there’s no cover! See you there.
We are pleased as punch to announce that we will be playing the 2011 CMJ Music Marathon! We can’t wait to see all our NY buds and rock the Rodeo Bar for the first time! Our showcase is Thursday, October 20th from 9-10pm. We’ll be warming things up for the Jack Grace Band, so make a night of it!
Jack Grace is a singer, songwriter and guitarist hailing from Brooklyn, NY. Simple enough, unless you happen to happen to work in the music business. The entertainment world loves a label: character actor, avant garde painter, fill-in-the-blank musician. Jack writes for himself and plays for others. Simple.
We just played the New London Americana Fest with Jack and his band and we can assure that this is going to be a blast of a night! We hope you’ll consider joining us at the Rodeo Bar on the 20th!
